We have a policy of working with organisations and businesses that meet current guidelines and best practice in employee welfare and care. This is particularly relevant to contractor health and safety policies and procurement approach.
Bloc has an Environmental and sustainability approach that identifies the importance of taking account of environmental, economic and social sustainability.
Bloc has an Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy and a Health and Safety Policy.
DUE DILIGENCE PROCESSES
In assessing a partner or supplier we will evaluate the modern slavery and human trafficking risks of each new supplier and review the proposed supply chain and sub contract organisations and their relevant policies.
STEPS TO ASSESS AND MANAGE RISKS
The above DD process is particularly relevant to sourcing contractor partners and to review the training policies in place to identify trafficking risk.
RESPONSIBILTY
The bloc CEO is overly responsible for this policy and the relevant director is responsible for identifying issues on specific projects.
